…If I say that I couldn’t care less how the Wimbledon final will turn out this Sunday.
Let’s see. Tennis is my favorite sport. Wimbledon is my favorite tennis tournament. Roger Federer is my favorite tennis player. For years, those three are one and the same. History has been written and rewritten, and now it’s time for another page. But give me until next year.
Roger Federer will not play in the Championships’ final after 7 years of consistently showing up there. He’s given more than anybody expected him to, and yet it’s still sad to see an era of dominance passing. For a fan like me, that is. What cheers me up is knowing that the records he has set will unlikely be broken by the current generation of players, yes, not even by the brilliant Rafa Nadal, in my opinion.
So what to do now? Spend my time for something else other than looking at tennis updates, I guess. Maybe buy gold online or something. Yeah, that doesn’t sound feasible.
