What kinds of TV shows scare you? I couldn’t help but laugh at a friend who says she can’t watch Buffy because it scares her. Yet another friend was quick to remind me that we once watched The Others with blanket over our heads. I guess I’m scared of ghost stories.
And then there is Dexter. Everybody says that show is genius. So I watched the first two seasons, with intervening months because it disturbed me too much that, as an analogy, Anilox cleaning won’t do to remove the conflicting emotions it can elicit. Now that the fourth season is over, and I keep on reading that it really is doing great with ratings, I decided to go back to season 3 and try to brave catching up to the story. Why bother, you may ask. I guess it’s good TV, if it can get a reaction that strong from someone like me who watches just a little too much television.
