Speaking of books, how would you like to have Amazon’s Kindle?
Disclaimer: This is not a paid post.
I just thought the idea of a portable book reader is cool, to say the least. Here’s one for the geeks.
There’s a video demonstration in the Web site. I’m rather impressed, but I’m a little wary about the cost. You’ll buy the gadget, for one, for $400. Then, pay $9.99 for bestsellers and new releases. The good thing though, is that first chapters are downloadable for free to help you decide which book to buy. There’s also wireless access to blogs, international newspapers, and even Wikipedia. Subscription rates apply.
Update: Wireless coverage is provided by Sprint, so I’m not sure about its international release. In such an event, content management will most probably be over the Internet and then transfer from your PC or laptop through the USB connection.
Ozy, for one, it has a larger screen than the PDAs and cellular phones with eBook readers. That, at least for me, is the big plus, especially if you’re a voracious reader.

How’s this different from phones who have eBook readers?
Well apart from getting free chapters on the net
Peace.
